Regularly changing the oils of your car is the fisrt tip that I would give you. The oil is the lifeblood of the car and like people if the blood isn’t good it won’t work well. Generally I tell all my customers of my San Diego auto repair shop to make sure to change their oil every 3000 miles.That would be sufficient enough to keep your car running in good condition for a long time.
Tune ups is another tip which I can give you for the maintenance of your car.It is important to make your car go through regular tuneups because this can detect any small problems and prevent it from getting worse.And you can also replace the important parts of your car if they are getting old already. Customers of my San Diego smog check shop who fail their smog test I always tell them to do this.Most of the time they fail their smog test because they did not make their cars go through regular tuneups.
The third tip I woud give is to always maintain the brakes of your car.They are important to maintain not because they are expensive to replace. They are important because they are your last line of defense for safety.Brakes that are maintained can keep and would keep you away from harm provided you drive safely while malfunctioning brakes can kill you and other people. I tell my customers of my San Diego brakes shop to always keep their brake fluid good.
