How long does a charge last on an electric bike?

Sara_Climber asked:

I am seriously considering purchasing an electric bike to commute to work. If I store it at work all day in my bicycle locker without it being charged, will I have enough juice to get home after an 8 hour day at work?

Is there such thing as an electric inflator for road bikes?

February 19th, 2009

extreme_apple asked:

I bought a small portable tire inflator for like cars, and bikes(http://www.blackanddecker.com/productguide/product-details.aspx?productid=15542&toolview=1#details), but the nozzles on my road bike tires are small, so the inflator hose can’t attach itself to it. Can I get an accessory to attach to the nozzle of the inflator to use on my road bike, or will I have to get a special handpump for the bike?

Is it worth buying an electric bike?

Angela F asked:

I don’t drive and soon I will not be able to get to work by public transport anymore – my shifts start very early. I am reasonably fit and would need to cycle 8 miles on flat road, at a time when there is very little traffic. Does having an electric bike significantly increase speed/make cycling easier?

nick damon asked:

What are the laws for riding electric bikes in New Jersey? Thanks
It’s a bike that rides 10 mph that also acts as a regular-pedalled bike. It’s a Mongoose motocross cx200
It won’t be riden on the roads. Its for riding to places like 5 minutes away.

Are electric Bikes any good?

Topher L asked:

Ever since i ridden on one of my grandparents little scooter, which has 3 wheels and runs on electricity i was hooked. it felt like one of those rides in a disney theme park, everything i saw at my parents farm looked so much better and entertaining, just like when you see the pirates of the carribean on that little boat. i ridden on it for about 20 hours all together and wasnt bored once, but that goes the same for the first time i driven a car which got boring after a couple of months. i wanted to get a scooter for the fresh air and feel like im helping out the envirement. but then i heard most scooters are bad for the envirement and pollute more then most cars. so i looked into electric bikes and havent heard much on that, i saw it on the news and been interested ever since. Are electric bikes any good?
