Do Famous Faces Really Need All These Cars

August 31st, 2009

Because of the credit crisis there are a huge amount of people around the world who are finding it very hard to purchase a new car. The on the other hand there are famous figures, who are spending a lot of money on new vehicles. But do these famous people really need this many cars.

If you watch programmes such as Cribs on MTV you will see that a famous person walks you around their whole house and talks you through each and every room and then finally they take the time to walk outside and show you a selection of their new vehicles.

But is this really something that these people really need to have. If we take a look and consider some facts, most celebrities are constantly working, which basically means that they are travelling non stop, not only in their own country but also in other countries around the world, so these celebrities really do not get time to drive their own cars because they are being driven around non stop by chauffeurs.

Celebrities seem to have so much money that they do not know what to do with it, so they instead splash out their money on buying new cars constantly, which sits on their drive and then gets sold on after a few years.

If you want to spend your money like water, then why not instead try to give it to charity. there are so many people around the earth that are roofless and hungry, that would be more then glad to take your money to purchase edibles and water. The next time that a famous figure is considering buying a new car then they should keep these thoughts in their mind.

To Scrap Or Not To Scrap?

August 30th, 2009

Unless you have buried your head under a rock for the past few months you will be aware of the Government’s latest initiative to kick start the car market, whilst also raising awareness of ‘Green Issues’. This incentive scheme has been referred to as the Scrappage Scheme and has already proved to be successful in terms of increasing the number of new cars sold in this country. The general public have literally flocked in order to get rid of their old bangers and take advantage of the up to £2000 cash incentive towards a new car.

However, there is one small problem; even with the £2000 contribution from Government and the Dealership, a lot of families still can’t afford to splash the cash on a new car. The Government are really pushing their Green agenda, primarily concerned with getting old and environmentally unsound cars off the road. The remaining concern is that new cars are still vastly more expensive than used cars so the used will continue to sell well.

But shouldn’t we feel awesomely guilty about driving used cars that may not be as good for the environment as brand new ones probably are?

The answer is simply No. Most cars made in the past 10-15 years are just as ‘Green’ as their 2009 counterparts. I have been driving a Used Audi for a few months and the Miles per Gallon ratio is identical to the new model, 4 years its junior.

So the choice of whether to take the Government up on their offer is completely up to you. If you want a new car then it makes sense to trade in your old 10+ year model, but if you are interested only buying a Used Car, then by all means do that. It is no less Green to recycle an existing car. In fact, the manufacturing process to put together the new car probably offsets the carbon emissions you would have prevented. So essentially, the whole scheme seems like a bit of a paradox; or a waste of time, tax-payers money and guilt.

Learn About Toyota Hybrid Cars

August 29th, 2009
Comments Off

Toyota hybrid cars were the first to hit the market. After decades of quality gas-fueled vehicle manufacturing, Toyota Motor Corp. redirected its creative efforts in an environment friendly direction. The first Toyota hybrid car model was Prius that made a true revolution in the world of automakers. Toyota hybrid cars stand out from among the other models on the market by their multi-leveled superiority: the engine, the mph rate it gets within a few seconds and all the driving conditions it provides are some of the best, not to mention that the reliability of the concept and the price are equally advantageous for car owners.

Some of the Toyota hybrid cars are also expected to bring modifications in terms of cylinder performance so that they may come to mark a total change in independent circuit racing. Not everybody is prepared to embrace vehicles in the green line, and this is the reason why the production as such remains pretty reduced. Anyone who’d like one of the Toyota hybrid cars manufactured in series production can place an order and a deposit with the local Toyota dealers. Before striking the deal, have a look at the technical data and even compare them together with a mechanic expert.

The bad part is that more advanced Toyota hybrid cars are worth a fortune, and they are far from the reach of the average user who cannot afford to buy up to $165,000 for a car even if it has a much lower fuel consume. The next Toyota Prius model expected to be unveiled in January 2009 is the one to keep the consumers hopes up. It is designed as a more powerful and larger vehicle with an engine growth to 1.8 liters. The line of all-electric fuel-free driving possibility will be extended without increasing the weight level of the existent Toyota hybrid cars.

Even if the future Toyota hybrid cars will undergo some upgrading, they will keep relying on the nickel metal hydride batteries without offering any plug-in choice. The Prius design to be launched will be available in several models from the wagon and the pickup to the compact and mid-sized SUV. The new Toyota hybrid cars are tributary to the first Prius models with the all-electric mode available for low speeds. Then, the joint power engine of the gas and electric motor devices will allow you to enjoy the speed of a cozy ride while on optimal fuel consume.

Advertising to boost profits

August 29th, 2009

In this day and age businesses are looking for ways to survive. To accomplish this you have to take the intitiative. You can’t be reactive, you are going to have to be proactive.

The businesses that fail are the ones that are hiding and running. You know the ones. The ones that think it is an expense that they can’t afford to advertise. It is those kind of companies and thinking that will fail.  Because in this economy, businesses can’t afford not to advertise.

For those that understand and know they must advertise to make it in this economy go with this method. This method is to use outdoor media, namely mobile billboards.  In the process of running my mobile billboard San Diego company I have seen many companies benefit from this.

Why use mobile billboard advertising?  Because consumers are more picky in where they spend their money.  Not only that, but customers can tune out all advertising. They are able to skip commercials. They have satellite radio they can use which doesn’t have ads. They are able to live their life commercial free.

But with using mobile billboards or truck advertising in San Diego that I like to use, consumers can’t avoid the ads. Advertising trucks are their with them in traffic.  It is right in front of them.It is on the side of them.It gets a hold of their attention. With a gorgeously made ad, it has the effect of branding your business in your consumer’s mind.

Unlike other forms of advertising, this can’t be tuned out. So you are most definitely going to get impressions. You pretty much are guaranteed to have your ad and brand viewed by the consumer.Contrast it to different forms of advertising and it is much more cost effective.  Mobile billboard rates are worth it in terms of getting seen by the consumer.

So if you are trying to survive, give truck advertising a try.For the money you use to advertise, this is one of the best.  It will give you exposure.  Your customers will remember you.You will get a lot more sales.

World Expansion of The Automotive Industry

Really Cool Cars

The most famous and most steady in the automobile manufacturing industry is the Toyota Motor Corporation. They have other subsidiaries and other brands like the Lexus, Hino, Scion and Daihatsu. Toyota has the ability to dominate the maker (Daihatsu) of the known Japanese compact car because they own 51% of the company. In European countries, they have the Lexus as their leading brand. Toyota with Lexus has been growing to become a great competitor to some European top auto makers in the category of luxury and super automobiles. Toyota products are very visible around the world. They have earned the reputation of manufacturing all vehicles with such excellent qualities and with very affordable prices. Toyota has purchased a portion of the Fuji Heavy Industries to which Subaru is a subsidiary. It has to be anticipated that they will develop a joint model which could be released in the market soon.

The automotive industry has grown worldwide and it shall be here to stay. Many major automobile manufacturers are still very much around being firm and strong in the automobile industry worldwide. With their entrance of the world market, they have a very high percentage of succeeding on conquering the whole industry with their goal, ideas and market approaches and schemes.

Volkswagen is another leading  car manufacturer based in Germany. It has many other known luxury and super vehicles like the Audi, Lamborghini, and Bentley among others. It has grown to become one of the largest car companies in Germany. Other leading companies are BMW, Daimler, and Porsche. Volkswagen is a subsidiary of Porsche.

In car industry, it is more difficult and more time consuming to come up with new and product improvements. Automotive prototyping has grown quick and it has enhanced learning speed as well as reduced the risk of upcoming improvements of  automobile parts.

Rapid prototyping has been a long time tool in the designing procedure of automotive parts in the car industry. Fast prototyping can produce automotive parts a lot quicker and more economical. It has to keep at pace with the fast automotive designing cycles.

The primary aim of automotive prototyping is to know fast the behavior of a new  automobile product in a natural working conditions before to mass producing the product. Often times, mistakes have been made only after the product has already been introduced to the market and has already been mass produced. This is why there are deficient designs of automotive parts, why there are mismatched products, diminutive engineering and performance or finish, and overpriced production. So as to hasten the learning process in automotive prototyping and prevent errors, feedbacks from the laboratory tests and market trials must be fastened and facilitated as soon as possible.

Automobile prototyping technologies such as rapid prototyping machines and most modernixed 3D printers must be utilized so that they could improve the ideal form, function and usefulness that they want to fulfill. It is palpable to see the created model on the computer screen.  Vehicle parts engineers can meet together to talk about the design before the product will be put in the production line. After making amendments to the product, then that is the time it shall be sent out for assembly. This way, they could know and check their ations and in turn, save immense amount of time and money.
