Lexus RX 450h – Ekologická paranoia – Roadlook TV

May 31st, 2010
roadlook asked:

Ať už se vám nové RX líbí nebo ne, musíte uznat, že co se týče velkých hybridních SUV, nemá Lexus konkurenci (což k nelibosti ostatních značek vlastně platí iv kategorii luxusních limuzín a brzy snad i malých prémiových hatchbacků). Model RX 400h si našel v USA i Evropě hezkou řádku příznivců a RX 450h nemá za úkol nic menšího, než na svého slavného předchůdce navázat či samozřejmě ideálně vynikající dosažená čísla pokořit. Cestu k tomuto cíli i tentokrát lemuje zase malinko zdokonalený hybridní systém Lexus Hybrid Drive s celkově vyšší účinností a přitom nižší spotřebou, zase o trochu luxusnější interiér nebo třeba originální design tentokrát okořeněný notnou dávkou futurismu. Lexus si v souvislosti s novým RX 450h nechce odpustit ekologické apely a hlasitě mluví o nízkých emisních hodnotách (v čemž má pravdu) a vůbec staví obrázek auta zelenějšího než příroda sama. A to pro nás byla pochopitelně velká výzva. Velká obluda s benzinovým šestiválcem nacpaná elektronikou od střechy až po podlahu, to si žádá opravdu pořádně zelený test, nemyslíte?

Toyota Camry Hybrid Commercial

May 30th, 2010
MadillMotors asked:

If you think you know Camry, think again. Were about to introduce you to something unlike any Australian-built car thats gone before it. Beyond any Camry youve ever known. And in a different class from any car youve ever driven. Australias most popular medium-sized car has now been completely redefined around the worlds leading hybrid technology: Toyotas Hybrid Synergy Drive. The combination of an electric motor with the Atkinson-cycle petrol engine results in a total output of around 140kW, whilst providing fuel efficiency in the low 6L/100km range, about a one-third reduction compared to a conventional Camry. Just as impressive is the low level of CO2 emitted – less than 150g/km*. Packed with intuitive technology, locally-tuned handling and suspension, and a Toyota-first Vehicle Dynamic Integrated Management (VDIM) system, its not just the most technologically advanced Camry ever, its the most progressive production car ever built in Australia. Here is a car that wont settle for creating a new chapter in Australian motoring history. Its rewriting the book forever.
